I’m not sure how many of you guys grew up drinking sun tea but there’s just something about it that taste so much better than regular tea made on the stove! Make some peach syrup to go with your tea and have the best peach sweet tea you’ll ever have! Nothing store bought will ever compare!!

Fresh homemade peach syrup (recipe is below 😍) our freezer is busting at the seams so i decided to take all of the frozen peaches we had and make some peach syrup for peach sweet tea and trust me store bought doesn’t compare to how good this is! It’s simple and easy: 2-3 peaches peeled and diced, 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, mash peaches to release more flavor, and let simmer for 15-20 minutes. Strain the syrup out and you’re done! If you want more of a peach taste decrease the amount of sugar you use, measure with your taste buds!

Does it take a little bit longer cooking with a 5 year old? Yes but sometimes you have to slow down and take the time to let them have fun with you while you’re doing what you love to do ❤️❤️
