Good Morning! 🌞☀️

More than meat! A huge portion of our daily products and items come from the beef industry; with over 99% of the animal being utilized when harvested.

It's National Cow Appreciation Day, so let's acknowledge all that that they do....
𝐈𝐟 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞...
We can thank the beef industry for a huge portion of items woven throughout our daily routines and items that we value the most.
𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭.
We get more than hamburgers and steak from cattle. 99% of the cow is utilized when harvested.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐭.
You would be surprised by how many healthcare items come from cows: allergy medications, vitamins, vaccines, first aid creams, inhalers, anti-rejection drugs, bandages, insulin, and the list goes on.
𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞. Footballs, baseballs, baseball gloves, tennis rackets, instruments, and more of your beloved equipment come from cattle. The hide from one steer can make 144 baseballs.
𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫.
Cattle by-products are all throughout your house: pasta, cake mixes, fabric softener, chewing gum, adhesives, glass, refined sugar, airfilters, brushes, textiles, ceramics, insulation, and endless more items!
𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞.
From airplane to auto products, we can thank cattle for those too: brake fluid, car tires, leather seats, asphalt, airplane lubricants, runway foam, car waxes, antifreeze, and more!

Take a look at the items throughout your day and thank a rancher.

Here is a great example of pricing breakdown when ordering whole, half or quarter beef. While the upfront costs may seem steep, your family could be saving thousands every year!

In this example, a whole beef costs $4,126 for 660lbs of meat-that equates to $6.25/lb

$6.25/lb steaks anyone?! 😄
