Welcome to the first weekend of fall! It’s beautiful today but we are in for a little bit of wet weather ahead. The shop and garden center are packed up with everything you need to get you through this weekend along with some new arrivals in stock today.
New produce in stock are leeks and the bubble gum variety dino eggs.
What do you do with leeks you ask? This is a super versatile piece of produce much like an onion. You can utilize these in casseroles, soups, risotto, tarts, frittata, with pasta, steak, ham, salmon, potato, eggs, spinach, broccoli. The bubble gum dino egg is another version of the popular pluots. This one has an olive speckled skin with a pink inside flesh.
All the pumpkin items are restocked. Choose from pie, roll, whoopies, and sweet breads.
The beef fridge is packed to the max with all different cuts. Choose from favorites like ground beef, delmonico, porterhouse, t-bone, skirt, sirloin, minute, flat iron, and bottom round roast.
In the garden center you will find additions to the decorative pumpkin selection. Look for the cinderella, flat stackers, fairytale, one too many, dark night, and ornamental gourds.
Our staff is always available to help. They work hard to make sure the shelves are all stocked up. Don’t hesitate to ask if you find something missing. Items shift places at times to make room for new items too. We are your local spot for friendly service and selection of locally sourced produce and items.
