Ugh.. hay went from $3.50 to $4.50 a bale for being delivered and stacked.... who wants to chip in? Got 150 bales of grass hay coming tomorrow am... then hoping I get 150 bales of alfalfa... (which will be $6 bale delivered and stacked). But my winter hay supply will be secured!

Koda and Katie took a sixth out of eight at the Junior flat race. Her form was good... she knows what to work on... and for her horse she's not ridden in a while.... he ran well. Bobbled the start... but it's all part of learning. As long as she knows what to move forward and learn from... I am a happy mama with how she rode. She rode good!
And huge congrats to Erin Swope on winning! You looked really good and snuck in there to take it all.... Congrats to all~

Stinky and Koda are due in May. If you're showing, we need to get them done and in my folder with the others.

I am calling my friend and setting it up. Coggins is $25.
Will have it set up by January 8th. Please let me know who needs it. Deonte, if you intend to show Spidey, he needs it done.

okay...new year...I've been lax on supplements... but I can't keep footing the bill for the soybean meal, the rice bran and the hay extender.
Rice bran pellets is $24 a bag. that works out to $5 per horse per bag. We go through one bag a week.
Hay extender is $13 a bag. We go through almost two bags a week. That's $26 a week... or $5 a week per horse
Soybean meal is $45 for 100 pounds which lasts a while. So that's $8.

I do get an ag exempt status so thankfully don't have to pay sales tax. I did round ever so slightly up because I use my vehicle and gas to get it.

I need to know if Sandy wants Gami on what. And it can be added monthly or paid weekly.

Deonte... you don't get a choice. Spidey needs it. So it will be $10 a week. I'll cover the rice bran and his other supplements that I give him as his owner.

Please let me know. I am making the new feed schedule up tomorrow and going to get the rice and soybean on Wednesday when the one feed store is open that has it cheaper.
