Responsibly retired after just two starts, and restarted by an amateur in April of this year, “Mossimo” has continued to surpass any and all expectations while proving his potential in the show ring. Big, handsome, and athletic with experience up to 2’6”, but the stride, scope, and willingness for more. Destined to be someone’s horse of a lifetime, the newly crowned 2024 Retired Racehorse Project’s Thoroughbred Makeover Field Hunter Champion and Show Hunter Reserve Champion by a mere 0.25 points, In The Air is sure to be the barn favorite anywhere. Last raced in February, and acquired directly from his connections (by yours truly), “Dug" settled instantly into farm life and has been a kind and willing participant in anything and everything since. One of the sweetest horses and best brains to come through the barn, Dug has been ridden and handled by advanced beginners, amateurs, and professionals alike. Having shown successfully at both local and away shows, he is brave and balanced to the jumps, a great mover, and has impeccable manners in and out of the ring. Also regularly hacks out alone or in company, schools cross country, and has Paper Chase and hound experience. Amateur or Junior friendly in a program, In The Air could go in any direction, and is not one to pass up.
