The turkeys have been enjoying lots of sunlight and have recently gotten to taste fresh spent grain from Elk River Brewing Company! We love working with local brewery’s and growing a partnership for years to come!

A few weeks ago Rosie tested out some our tomatoes and I may have sampled a few cucumbers from my sisters garden.

Next thing you know there was a warrant out to return the vegetables.

You grow it.

I pick it.

They “borrow” it.

Nobody remembers who planted it. 😂

At this point, our family gardens are basically one giant community garden with absolutely ZERO paperwork. 🌱🤣

Please enjoy a little AI family fun.

Family gardening: where sharing is caring… and stealing is apparently just harvesting from the family plot. 😂🥒🍅

What an incredible year at the Cecil County Fair! 🎉🏆

We are beyond grateful to bring home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons!

Every entry represents hours of hard work, patience, and love, making this achievement even more special.

But as exciting as the ribbons are, the best part of the fair is spending time with family, making memories, cheering each other on, and celebrating together.

Those moments are worth more than any prize.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports us throughout the year. Congratulations to all of the exhibitors—it takes a lot of dedication to put your hard work on display. We're already looking forward to next year!

Early morning views like this remind us of why we do what we do. Sure we would have loved to sleep in and enjoy a hot cup of coffee before leaving the house, but today we were up before the sun to process our ducks that will feed us this winter.

We are offering fresh duck feet for sale at a price of $2 each. These can serve as an excellent snack for canine companions or be utilized in the preparation of homemade stock and broths.

🎡 Cecil County Fair entries are ready! 🎡🌿

One of our favorite parts of fair season is showcasing a little piece of what we've been growing. This year we are entering these fresh-cut kale and rosemary displays and hoping they catch the judges' eyes!

Whether they bring home a ribbon or not, I'm proud of the time, care, and hard work that goes into growing everything from seed to harvest. That's what makes county fairs so special—celebrating agriculture, gardening, and the people who keep those traditions alive.

Sending good luck to everyone entering this year's Cecil County Fair! 🍀🏆

Sometimes the best view isn't from the top—it's from where the hard work happens. 🌱☀️

From the ground up, every season brings new challenges, new growth, and new reasons to be thankful. The fences may need fixing, the weeds never stop growing, and the to-do list is endless... but days like this remind us why we do it.

Here's to blue skies, green grass, and building
something worth passing on. 💚

Today’s project was to give the barn and stalls a little refresh.

Our friends at Hunters Concrete came by and leveled the walkways as well as refreshed the floors in each stall.

The space looks amazing and will make caring for our animals easier than ever! Hunters Concrete
