Thanks everyone for another incredible market and to all who stayed for our meeting after! It was hot but it was a beautiful day.

With Farm Day coming up at the end of the month and 9 markets left in the season, I just wanted to share this again just in case there was anyone who would like to join the family at Plattsburgh Farmers' and Crafters' Market.

We can tell you from experience that it’s a great place to grow and learn the way to vend that works for you, and that the membership is kind and supportive and full of some of our favorite people, vendors and customers alike.

If you or someone you know makes food, grows/produces food, has a craft or talent that you think would be interested, feel free to reach out and we will help anyway we can!

Plattsburgh Farmers' and Crafters' market is open all summer to get local food, handmade goods, and live music!

Our Last calf of the 2026 Raffle!

Calf #12 was born almost two weeks after every other calf! This calf is a heifer calf and her mom, Doris, is from our original herd! Doris is one of our Angus/Hereford crosses and has blessed us with many healthy calves. We have named her heifer calves after flowers Lilly, Poppy, and Calla Lilly.

We only have one more calves left to name for 2026! We have been so busy with markets, hay and organizing Farm Day for Plattsburgh Farmers' and Crafters' Market we haven’t posted yet.

Someone asked about the Raffle Donations this weekend so here is an update on Donations, we have received $276 in donations. Our cost of hay was over $2k this year. Why this is a big deal? We spend 2-3 months and thousands of dollars already making our own hay. The herd has grown to meet the needs of our customers but the hay we have been able to make has not kept up with demands due to poor weather.

We have made arrangements to try to stay ahead of our hay problems this year without taking a hit to our herd size.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Plattsburgh Farmers' and Crafters' Market and Peru Town Market and supported our small farm this weekend! You guys showed up and made all our hard work worth it! Thank you to all the vendors who participated in both markets! Kenny's Tasty Treasures for planning Family Fun Day at PFCM. Bird and a Half Baking for ordering a custom shirt! Ryelyn by Design and Kokotallow LLC for always supporting us! To Ali Webbinaro and Lauren Prue for making us feel so welcomed at every market. For everyone not tagged all your purchases, support, donations and follows mean the world to us. This weekend blew us away, we broke our sales records at both markets! We are a small farm trying to make it. The bills pile up, the weather feels like it’s out to get us and the work never ends but your support keeps us going! Thank you!
