For the Dakota Dash ride with new horses and new riders we had wanted a quiet horse to lead the group and unfortunately the gelding i was going to ride ended up with a puffy ankle. So back home we drove to pick up Sappheira. She has been our faith horse every year for camping trips and to take friends and kids riding. Mostly a pasture puff this year. At 22 years old you almost cant tell she has aged. Nevertheless she was game. Led the group 13.5 miles and still fresh to go. Some horses are just always there for you. We sure love every year we get with her and she has been very loved by so many riders over the years.
