Last batch of Iron Valley sold out so we brought in most qualified tongues of Kittitas to help pick out a new barrel to bottle. 5 barrel samples, hard work. They chose barrel 3 which was filled 10/11/2022 at 58% ABV in a McGinnis Char 3 15 gallon barrel and came out at 58.3%. Only a small rise in ABV. That barrel is what is on the shelf today for our Iron Valley Single Malt. Shout out to Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast for not only an outstanding smoked salmon but also lending assisting in the wh***ey research and development by personally tasting and doing in depth QC on each one. That kind of dedication and attention to detail is impressive.
