I’ve been going through several of our youngsters’ first fleeces, and Salix’s first clip is looking very promising. I’m really pleased with what I’m seeing so far, but as always, only time will tell as his fleece continues to mature.

Our final cria of 2025 has arrived with a perfect textbook birth (three days ago). Fifteen minutes after I said to a friend it would be nice if the cria came soon, he was already here. Up on his feet, nursing within the 20 minutes and already running within an hour His spirited arrival inspired his name, Talen Ranch’s Edge Rush!

Sire: Bayou of Linden Hills
Dam: Starshire’s Delphinium
