As we approach summer Solstice, thought it was time to change out my seasonal wallhanging. ❄️ to 🌞 😂 Pattern is called Follow the Sun by Lena Pugachova. I need to make a wind wallhanging…that could hold us for much of the year. This one was tricky with all the curved seams!

First completed skeins off the wheel using the high speed head. A bit of a twist so will wash the skeins to set the yarn before knitting. A real learning curve doing the 3-ply with this configuration, many adjustments. Think I’ve got it dialed in now. Hard to catch the color but sure enjoying this spin!! Have a good amount of BFL roving in stock. $4/oz or $50/lb before shipping. This would be best spun and then dyed. It’s just as BFL should be - spins beautifully and skin soft. BFLs are gone but just had the last couple of fleeces processed.

Pretty chuffed that my itsy bitsy Dutch Spotted/Coopworth singles are getting more consistent. Only one pass through the PG triple carder! The only thing I don’t like about the carder is the capacity seems low, lucky to get an ounce on it even with the packer brush. But it sure makes beautiful batts so there’s that! One pass? Unheard of on other home type carders.

It’s time to make hay while the sun shines. New tractor, old baler. Four intense days of trapping the feral mama cat and litter of 5 kittens by a local rescue. The first Texel ram lamb left for his new home over the weekend and I made a new sheep friend in that process.

Make me an offer. Available and in my truck for a trip to Habitat Restore.

Like new rolling craft table. Wings to expand the 24 inch work surface to 48 inches. Top opens for access to a pull-out shelf. I used as a cutting/ironing station in my sewing room but I have a new setup and don’t have room for it now. Ellensburg, WA pickup. I think it was designed for a Cricut type machine with storage for vinyls, etc.

I am redoing my sewing room AGAIN. 🙄🤪😂

Like new sewing desk with extension. Allows for sewing at correct ergonomic position for various machines. 48” wide (57” with flip up extension), 24” deep, 30” tall. Two sturdy fabric type drawers that are table depth and hold quite a lot. Two shelves underneath. Have decided to get a standing desk and don’t have room for this. Less than 6 months old. $50 cash only, rural Ellensburg.
