Had carpal tunnel surgery yesterday, so waiting to recover from that and still take care of the ponies. Will have to have foot surgery on the 14th and be in a boot for a few weeks. Makes working with the ponies a little difficult. Several of them are heading to the West side again to work at pony camps for the Summer.

With help from family and friends we spent the first two weekends in October at the Harvest Festival in Suncadia. It was our 18th year participating in this event and there have been a lot of changes over the years. We never tire of giving "first pony rides" to young riders. If anyone reading my post has a photo that was taken during your child's ride, please add it to a comment and share it with us.

Four of our ponies will be at Red Gate Farm for the Summer to be used in their pony camp program. Kitty, Lass, Majic and Tilly left yesterday to get prepared for the program. I miss them, and so do their pasture mates.

This was his last trip to a store. My partner/husband finally passed away on September 11, 2025. He was the Tom in the Tom EL Welsh Mountain Ponies.

Due to my husband's health problems we have to make some tough decisions. Our current herd must be reduced. Lead line ponies need riders, 4H ponies need to become projects for local riders. Contact me if you are interested in becoming a pony holder.
