Managing our crops and bees through pest problems is tough, especially when you employ organic practices and are animal lovers 🙋♀️. First pic below is last year, the second is this year. Skunks can really upset bees by raiding the hives at night and eating all the bees they can grab. We had troubles with that last year. BUT NOT THIS YEAR! We doubled the height of our hives AND modified the entrances to be higher so they can’t reach anymore! 💪 We’re getting better as keepers every year and conquering these stressors to the bees humanely, and still making delicious, raw and pure honey! 🍯 ❄️
