Foot of the Mountain Homestead We are a very small homestead tucked away in the city of N. Adams.We started to build this little Himestead on April 2025.

We want to supply our community with fresh eggs, veggies, fruits, and fresh baked bread snf bakery goods.

We are pleased to announce that all vegetables and flowers have been planted. We look forward to seeing them flourish. Additionally, our chickens are nearing the stage of egg production. We will notify those on our list when produce and eggs are available for pickup. If you wish to be added to our list, please let us know. As a small homestead, the quantity of fresh produce, flowers and eggs is currently limited.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Whitman‘s feed store in Bennington, Vermont. They claim to offer a 90% guarantee on poultry purchases. However, our recent experience contradicts this assertion, as half the chicks that were purchased are roosters!. When we attempted to return or exchange them, the store refused, stating they wouldn't provide refunds, accept returns, or reimburse us for feed expenses. Their stance seems inconsistent with their advertised guarantee. Given the discrepancy between their claims and actions, concerns arise about their overall reliability. As a result, we will refrain from patronizing this establishment in the future due to their apparent lack of commitment to their policies.
