Given tomorrow’s weather forecast, we wanted to share an important update about the Georgia Apple Festival & Apple Arts Festival:

After closely monitoring the forecast and the latest information from the National Weather Service, the Georgia Apple Festival and Apple Arts Festival in Downtown Ellijay have been canceled for Saturday, October 10th.

Everyone’s safety is our top priority, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.

Both festivals are still scheduled for Sunday, October 11th! The Georgia Apple Festival will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM, and the Apple Arts Festival from 10 AM to 6:30 PM.

You know what they say, rain or shine, it’s Apple Pickin’ time. 🍎🍏🍎

In all seriousness, they are currently only forecasting 1/2 an inch of rain each day this weekend. To me, this means it will be a great weekend to break out the rain boots, poncho, and umbrella to still get out and enjoy the festival without much of a crowd and only deal with rain part of the day.
