The ground is cracking it’s so dry. We seem to have missed every rain over the last couple of months. Unfortunately, as a result, we are already feeding our cattle hay. We hope it’s temporary. If we can keep them confined and get a little rain there is still hope for some fall grass growth. Lord please bring us some rain! Anyone know a rain dance?

Can not wait for this heat wave to pass! We have moved our chick brooder to 5 different places trying to keep it shaded. Finally, we went ahead and moved chicks to pasture. It’s a little early for them but they seem to be much cooler and happier! Keeping all of the animals cool and hydrated is a real challenge this week! Stay cool Folks! 🤠
