Baking doesn’t always have to be aesthetic.
Perfectly clean kitchens aren’t where most bakers are working.
It’s the kitchen years of grandmothers have cooked and baked in.
It’s the kitchen many small sets of feet have ran through.
It’s the kitchens homemade meals are made.
It’s the kitchen where garden vegetables are cleaned and preserved.
In my opinion, the warm, cozy and comforting baked goods come from grandmas kitchens. And those aren’t always white and crisp.
