Barringer Family Farms Barringer Family Farms is a 4th generation family farm located in the verdant Trimbelle River valley in western Wisconsin. Come see us!

We grow vegetables, CBD h**p products, certified organic hay, present arts and education events, and host community celebrations. We center the production of healthy and delicious food in a sustainable manner that nourishes our customers, improves our land, and connects with community. Our edamame harvest ended last week. The remaining plants will be left to deliver seed and dried beans. Typically, we freeze the amount we save for family consumption over the winter, but this season, we are going to see how canning delivers. We also pickled a bit. Yum!

My. Farmer Heather miscalculated the number of onions needed in our plot and we now have several flats of onions that are extra. Need any? $10/flat with each flat having about 250 onion plants. Barringer Family Farms has small CSA shares. Read below and message us if interested. Questions welcome!

CSA stand for Community Supported Agriculture. With a CSA, you enter into a partnership with us through purchasing a share of expected produce. You receive fresh produce and other farm goods and we receive financial support early in the season so that we can buy seed, compost, and equipment to help our farm thrive. It’s a commitment for both of us—and hopefully the beginning of a pleasant relationship centered on food, farming, and love for land.

Barringer Family Farms is in its fifth year of operation, and the fourth year offering a CSA. We’re still keeping things small, with a limited number of shares to offer. Our CSA will run from June 9-October 9 and pick up will be available at our farm in Ellsworth, WI, at a location in River Falls, and at a location in the east metro. Each full share is $500 (about 18 boxes) and half shares are $250 (9 boxes or fewer items each week).

Barringer Family Farms is a small family farm that produces a variety of fresh vegetables, CBD h**p products, and homemade canned and baked goods made from farm produce*. CSA members will receive roughly 5-7 items in each box. Because growing seasons start slow and end with abundance, early boxes will contain fewer items and later boxes will contain quite a bit.

A CSA contains an element of risk for you and a healthy challenge for us, your farmer.

We’re going to work hard to grow amazing food for you, but farming is unpredictable. If our crops fail, we won’t be able to offer you a refund, though we promise we will work with you to make sure both of us are satisfied with the season.
