Barringer Family Farms Barringer Family Farms is a 4th generation family farm located in the verdant Trimbelle River valley in western Wisconsin. Come see us!

We grow vegetables, CBD h**p products, certified organic hay, present arts and education events, and host community celebrations. We center the production of healthy and delicious food in a sustainable manner that nourishes our customers, improves our land, and connects with community. You can purchase our food at local farmer's markets, through our CSA, online, or at our market located on our farm.

Crew here at the farm spent yesterday morning putting in fencing so that the resident cattle can access a few more acres of grass. Part of our transformation to regenerative grazing on Farm B. Post holes are a couple feet deep, and several out there were nothing but dust all the way down. Tamping down the soil was like stomping baby powder. We need days and days of gentle rain, friends.

Radishes bolt quickly in this high heat, so I was in the field early this morning pulling most of our radishes to salvage whatever bulbs we could. Our radish crop suffered from drought and high heat earlier this season, so bulbs were not plentiful. But...radish greens. Yum. Sauteed in butter with onion and pepper flakes, these greens make a fine lunch. We do have plenty, so if you might like a CSA share with radish greens, lettuce, rhubarb, garlic scapes, bok choy, and onions ($25) message us. You can also just get a big bag of radish greens for $5. You can pick up at our farm or I will be in River Falls or Ellsworth in the next couple of days. Stay cool!
