Grazing Management Tips
🌱Turnout Timing: Start grazing when the rye is 6 to 8 inches tall.
🌱Strip grazing is recommended to maximize efficiency and prevent overgrazing.
🌱Rotation: Keep a 1-to-2-inch stubble height to ensure regrowth.
🌱Harvesting: If not grazed completely, rye can be used for hay or silage (before heading).
