Ever notice your honey looking a little "cloudy" or swirling like a storm in a bottle? ☁️🍯

When most people think of crystallized honey, they picture that completely solid, rock-candy, or gritty "body scrub" texture at the bottom of a jar. But crystallization doesn't look the same for every batch!

What you’re seeing in this photo is the very beginning of that natural process. Because our honey is 100% raw and unpasteurized, it keeps all of its natural pollen grains and enzymes. Over time, the natural sugars slowly start to bind to those microscopic particles. Depending on the temperature and the specific flowers the bees visited, it can start out as these gorgeous, cloud-like, marbled swirls suspended in the liquid.

If your honey does this, celebrate! It’s the ultimate proof that you've got the real, unprocessed deal. 🙌

Want it perfectly liquid again? It’s an easy fix:
1️⃣ Give your bottle a warm bath! Place it in a bowl of warm water (around 110°F).
2️⃣ Let it sit until the crystals dissolve (avoid the microwave, which destroys all those amazing, raw benefits!).
3️⃣ Store it in a warm pantry—cold temperatures act like an accelerator pedal for crystal growth.

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Li'l Lumberjills has officially set up shop right alongside The Honey Hut! 🍯 🪵 🔥 🐝

If you're looking for a hassle free way to spark up your next backyard bonfire, look no further. The incredible duo behind this venture, Melina and Honora Joyce, are 11 and 12 year old homeschooled entrepreneurs who have thrown themselves into some serious adventures lately. They are using this firewood business to learn amazing life skills, from sourcing materials and bookkeeping to marketing and business math.

Even cooler? Their ultimate goal is to fund their very own tickets for a Caribbean Cruise with their profits! 🛳️🌴

You can see the gorgeous results of their hard work in the photo, their bright yellow stand is beautifully stacked and ready to go.

Their firewood is completely seasoned, prepackaged, and all premium hardwoods, making it super easy to get your fire going.

Happy World Bee Day! 🐝 🌎

Did you know that May 20th is a global day designated by the United Nations to celebrate our favorite little pollinators? The date was chosen to honor Anton Janša, the pioneer of modern beekeeping, born all the way back in 1734.

This year’s global theme is all about celebrating the connection between people, bees, and the planet. Around here, we feel that connection every single day when we step out into the apiary.

To celebrate, we wanted to share a few mind-boggling facts about the incredible work happening inside the hives:

🌎 To produce just one single pound of honey, a colony collectively flies roughly 90,000 miles. That is like circling the globe three times.
🍯 A single worker bee will only contribute about 1/12th of a teaspoon of honey to the hive in her entire lifetime. Every single drop truly is a labor of love.
🍎 About 1 out of every 3 spoonfuls of food we eat relies directly on pollinators. From the food on our tables to the wildflowers in our fields, they keep our ecosystem thriving.

We are so incredibly grateful to play a small part in caring for these amazing creatures, and we are even more grateful for the incredible community that supports our journey. Thank you for buzzing along with us, loving our honey, and keeping it local. We quite literally couldn't do this without you! ♥️💙
