Why are your eggs all different colors, including white? Are the white ones from the store? ♡ Different breeds lay different colors, from white to dark brown and every shade in between, pink to blue and green!
Do you need roosters? Doesn't that mean the eggs will be chicks? ♡ Hens don't need a man to lay eggs, but we have roos for protection and babies! Eggs won't grow chicks unless they are incubated to exact standards, there's no chance you'll crack open an egg and find a baby.
Why are some eggs small? ♡ For the same reason some are giant! Different breeds lay different size eggs and new layers often lay smaller eggs for a while. Sometimes its just a tiny egg or a super jumbo egg. Nature is mysterious and unpredictable!
