Interesting article on applying the rotary vacuum drum filter to remove fatty acids and solids from used oils in food processing.

With hot oil filtration, oil filtered from a commercial deep fryer never needs to be discarded, improving the profitability of food processing. A vacuum drum filter is an option that includes both mechanical and chemical processes with demonstrated success in the hot oil filtration market.

Always love the Thanksgiving poem from one of our favorite customers! Happy Thanksgiving!

'Twas the day after turkey
And all through the mansion
We gazed and we wondered
At our belly’s’ expansion.

So much to eat!
Our belts are so tight
But somehow we know
We’ll be hungry tonight.

So what should we do
With all of those yummies,
Crammed into the ice box,
Awaiting our tummies?

There’s dressing and drumsticks,
Potatoes and gravy.
There’s so much left over
We could feed the whole navy.

Green beans and muffins,
Salads and soups,
Our Tupperware’s bulging
With all the food groups.

But how to prepare them,
These leftover dishes?
What can we use
To make them delicious?

Ketchup? or butter?
No -- that would be yucky.
But we could use Plochman’s --
Now that would be ducky!

There are so many mustards,
So many styles,
You could line them all up,
They’d go on for miles.

There’s mustard with honey,
Mustard with beer,
Horseradish and bourbon,
They all bring good cheer.

There’s mustard from Cuba
And mustard that squeezes,
With hot sauce, with fire,
Each one of them pleases.

Stone ground and Dijon,

Don’t be in a hurry,
There’s mustard with spices,
With berries, not to worry.

The choices are big,

And there is always the fig,
We know you’ll do fine,
That you can be trusted
To spice your leftovers
With dollops of MUSTARD.
