This has been my go to spot for Chinese take out forever! Simon and Dennis have been great friends to me. I don’t get in for sit down service very often. And I highly recommend it. As good as it is take out. It’s even better. I had a shredded beef and Amy had a sweet and sour chicken.

I kept hearing about this old style Pizza Hut down here. That’s like going back in time. And it is. The old salad bar. The red plastic soda cups. The table cloths. All of it. Was very good. Got the ole stand by pan pizza.

Amy and I are out on a ride today. Beautiful loop. 154 from Canton to forksville is some amazing riding. But, wanna know what’s more amazing? Cheese steaks at Big Mike’s! These are my favorite localish Cheese steaks by a mile! I had a wit onions and provolone and Amy did wit out onions and wiz. Also some fries with wiz. Absolutely top shelf. And, the A-treat soda is great too.

Last night we had dinner at Casa Mezcal. It’s in the red roof inn painted Post. It was amazing! I had Mole. Amy had Enchiladas. Drinks was also great. And the company we kept with Charlie and Christina was first rate too! This spot is far better than the Elmira spots.

So I stumbled on this party in middle of nowhere Interlaken NY. Place is called Prouty’s and they are having a duck race in creek. And have one hell of a country band picking! My kinda spot!

Check in isn’t working. But, this is Althea’s finger lakes tavern In montour falls. And it’s amazing! Amy had a cheesesteak. I had my go to fried seafood platter with a Caesar salad. This platter has flounder, po***ck, and shrimp. It’s the best fried fish around! And a great Caesar too. Amy said her shaved ribeye sandwich was also great. This has been a favorite spot a long time. But, first time we have been in a while. Same great food!

Ok. So being transparent. I never give bad reviews unless they do something really bad. Salsa 2 has been a favorite for a while now. A couple weeks ago I was in with a group and it was def off. So I did not review them that night. But, I said one bad trip can’t ruin dozens of great. So, tonight Amy and I returned. And it was back to the experience I am used to here. Some of the best Mexican food in town! So, if you have had an off night here. Maybe they had an issue we don’t know. Give them another shot! Great service. Great food. I love this place being handy in south side.

Something other than pizza for once. Got a small cheese steak. Like all there food. Was Delicious!
