Farewell, 2025!

As I close this chapter, I do so grounded in gratitude. 2025 taught me to move with intention, to guard my peace fiercely, and to lead with heart in everything I create. Every lesson—soft or challenging—helped shape the foundation I now stand on.

To everyone who trusted me to create beautiful cakes for your moments and milestones—thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Your support gave me the space to learn, evolve, and grow with every bake. I’m deeply grateful for the trust, the love, and the opportunity to do what I truly love. To everyone who has supported this space by liking, sharing, and following along: thank you. This journey continues to build my confidence, silence old doubts, and connect me with a community that truly inspires and uplifts. I’ve crossed paths with some of the most genuine souls here, and I’m endlessly thankful for the encouragement and connection.

We’re dropping a limited batch this year — life been lifing, schedules been scheduling — so if you know you KNOW…

Today I had the absolute privilege of creating this royal castle cake for Princess Jiselle’s 5th birthday. Jiselle’s celebration was nothing short of magical, and her smile made every hour of work worth it, yes mommy brought her for a little visit💖. I know that my caking adventure is only limited to part-time and one day a week, but my goal has always been more than just baking cakes. Believe it or not, I find the freshest breadfruit right here at Western Beef on Dutch Broadway between Elmont Road and Fletcher—no need to trek all the way to Little Guyana! Oh, the convenience! Perfect for that Sunday morning breakfast, but it’s usually an “anytime” snack in our home.
