Elmwood Pie Ride

Elmwood Pie Ride Elmwood Nebraska hosts "The Pie Ride" 7 Thursdays in summer. Drive in or ride the MoPac Trail - an easy and beautiful ride. Free concerts.

Local groups sell home made pie and local businesses sell pizza & a full menu. The Elmwood Pie Ride is a series of events in the community of Elmwood Nebraska, occurring every-other Thursday in June, July and August. The public is invited to come out - either driving or riding the MoPac Trail which comes through Elmwood. The MoPac Trail is a nice flat rail-trail that runs through beautiful countryside. At each event, Civic organizations sell pie and dessert (5-8pm) usually in the park. There is always a free concert with performances by Nebraska musicians in the park gazebo. Downtown businesses have a full menu and beverages. In case of bad weather, all activities are moved inside The Quonset Bar and Grill downtown.
