I had put on every bra I owned to achieve something close to Dolly's signature look back in 2011. I've loved her for years and I'm sure like many others I had feared this day would soon come. I dont make it a habit to idolize too many celebrities and people I haven't ever met but with Dolly its obvious there needed to he an exception to that rule. She was fierce, strong, independent, feminine and a whole slew of other wonderful characteristics I probably cant even begin to think of. She loved children, though she had none. She dedicated her life to helping others including children through her imagination library. She stood strong in her faith and belief in Jesus and is resting now in heaven with Him and all her beloved loved ones that have gone before her. She was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten and always have a special place in my heart. RIP Dolly

Speak now or forever hold your peace.... the lisianthus are at their peak and they're such a treasure and have an incredible vase life of 10-14 days with proper care.

💐 BOUQUET SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE HERE! 💐

I've been waiting all summer for the flowers to really start doing their thing and it's finally time!

I'm opening up 15 bouquet subscription spots for the rest of the 2026 flower season.

🌸 10 weeks of fresh, locally grown bouquets
🌸 Grown right here at This Olde Farm
🌸 $250 for the season

BUT — little launch special!

Sign up and pay by Sunday and it's $225 for all 10 weeks + I'm throwing in an extra bouquet for you to gift to someone else. Give it to your mom, your neighbor, your bestie, someone having a rough week... whoever you think needs some flowers. 💕

The launch special is only for the first 15 subscriptions.

Flowers will change right along with the season, so no two weeks will be exactly the same. Think zinnias, cosmos, sunflowers, celosia, grasses, fillers and whatever else is looking amazing in the field that week. 🌻

Despite my extreme doubts... yeah I know you're supposed to think positively and what not but I really didn't have a whole lot of confidence that I'd be able to pull this thing off this year after welcoming baby #5, homeschooling, homesteading, helping manage our trucking business and all the other things in between.

Anyway, I did indeed get this field (mostly) planted. And all of a sudden out of nowhere we have a whole row of Zinnias blooming their butts off. Lots more to follow.

I think I will be able to make a few deliveries this week so if you're interested let me know!

Oh yeah, and I now have a small farm stand. We have so much to catch up on. 😂 I might try putting a few things out in the stand and see what happens. Maybe someone will wanna stop by.... or maybe not. We will see.

P.S. How cute is this little homestead heeler? We call her Penny Dog. Sometimes she lays on the flowers. 🤷‍♀️

Are you even a Mom to feral children if there isn't a collection of rocks soaking in the sink?

Tis' the season for tracking in all the things. Its not uncommon for me to find sticks, pinecones, rocks and even little containers of creatures. Oh and let's not forget the muddy footprints on the floor and smearsof handprints on the patio door.

Does out drive me batty? Yes. Will I long for it one day... the biggest YES!
