Abundant Grace Farm

09/13/2026

We have really downsized the farm the season to fit our family needs. No more turkeys. Got the goats down to 6 adults (about half our normal herd minus goat kids), but somehow we ended up with more barn cats 🐈 🐈 🐈‍⬛️ 🐈‍⬛️. By more I mean 4, well here they are: Checkers, Boots, Smokey and Coco. All have been fixed and becoming quite friendly. We wont be breeding goats this year. Taking a season off.

RIP sweet Timmy and Sammy. Beautiful buck born and raised on our farm. You will be missed. Thankful for some break in the smoke today but this smoke, and weather is no joke when it comes to owning livestock. Please keep your fellow homesteaders and livestock owners in your prayers. We unfortunately cant bring every livestock animal inside. I also had to bring in Sammy our barn cat yesterday who is in terrible shape. She was missing for a almost 2 days. And when she came back she was incredibly lethargic. Most likely has a terrible upper respiratory infection. Sadly we decided to do the humane thing and end Sammy's suffering. Those blue 💙 eyes will be missed and her sassy siamese attitude.

Sweetie is very well seasoned older doe. Great temperament. She really is sweet. Currently in milk but can be dried up before leaving. She needs to go to new pastures to retire from breeding (based on her udder conformation) and live out her BEST YEARS on nice pastures. Will be selective on where she goes. She deserves a great home. She has been with us many years and very special to us. Closed herd, clean tested in the past and only purchase from clean tested herds. She has been copper bolused and wormed once after kidding this season. Downsizing our herd. Located Elsie MI 48831. Willing to meet partway depending on distance. Registered ND. Papers below.
