Seed saving 101 - saving seeds from what you grow can be so easy. Yard long beans, or any pole bean. You can leave them to dry on vine or, if you’re like me, you pick everything and sort later.
Yard long beans, once you can feel the “beans” inside, they’re past their prime. Sometimes this can literally be the next day. Once that happens, you can save those seeds, so not all is lost. Just lay them or hang them to dry, once fully dry, just remove the “beans” and there’s your seeds for next year. The once pictured are just what was accumulated in the past few days. Once off the vine, they dry pretty quickly. Once completely dry, store the seeds for next year. It’s literally that simple!
