Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Dr.’s Ben Martin and Brittany Denker. Rough Diamond Ranch began on

a small 30 acre homestead in south central Nebraska with 3 registered cows. Being young veterinarians carving their reputations in the cattle industry, Ben and Brittany decided they wanted to become fully invested in the cattle industry to help better understand the needs of their commercial producers. With this goal in mind, they set out to develop a cow herd that would exceed their expectations when it came to performance and efficiency. Today over 20 head of efficient, highly maternal females call Rough Diamond ranch home. Ben and Brittany continue to travel the country in search of females that meet their strict criteria, with hopes of continuing to grow and produce Red Angus cattle that will improve the commercial cattlemen’s profitability.
