Enchanted Hollow Alpacas ADVENTURE - Our Way of Creating Greatness! We first saw alpacas on television and started to investigate them. The first time we actually saw one we were hooked.

Such calming, innocent, and loving creatures. We started with five females, one being pregnant, but soon bought 7 more females. We started meeting other alpaca owners and helping at other farms during shearing. We soon had our first cria (baby) and it was as nerve racking as having our own children. After our first year and a lot of researching and reading everything we could get our hands on, we were ready to buy our males and get started with our breeding program. We attended our first National show in Denver and purchased an amazing male from Xanadu Farms. Xanadu's Ch*****ne Protocol arrived on our farm and was soon ready to stand as our farm herdsire. His quality bloodline was only in the east and we were looking forward to bringing it to the west and take advantage of his outstanding pedigree to improve our herd. We are now up to almost 50 animals and have brought some pretty impressive bloodlines to our herd. Our animals receive only the best of care not just because we want to produce quality fiber but because we care. We want them to have the best. They deserve it.

SLOWING SELLING Check our website for more information. ehalpacas.com
We have quite a few animals for sale and as they have their babies there will be more until we sell them all. It will take a while but we are selling our herd due to health problems. We love our animals and this has been a very hard decision but we believe it is the right decision for us. We have over 40 animals and a diverse color program. We don't actually breed for color, we breed for quality animals but we do watch our colors and choose which ones to breed carefully. We have several different bloodlines to choose from. Our herd is show quality alpacas and most have been bred and born on our farm. We don't have older animals. Protocol is the oldest and he is 11. We have been breeding to better the quality of our animals and selling their moms if we have better quality. Our alpacas have the very best of care. Their barns, corrals and pastures are cleaned continuously so that they are not tracking it everywhere or laying in it. It also helps control the flies. They get quality hay, grain, and minerals. If I have skinny animals, they are supplemented with shredded beet pulp which they love. We are just starting this process and my pictures need to be updated which will happen in the next few days. Please let me know if you have any questions. We also have a free mentorship program which will continue as long as we are able. We truly want people to succeed with their animals and knowledge is the best way to do that.

Girls love loose hay after Royce stacks it in the barn. The grass is always greener, so they say.

All of these are baby girls from last year except for the little boy in the front who is 2 weeks old. He thinks he's the boss and can push everyone around. They get so mad at him. If he's not careful, they are gonna gang up on him n teach him a lesson. He is beautiful. One to watch for sure. He's our 1st this year. The next one is due today then 2 more next week.
