The Italian Dinner & Wine Pairing at Ann Street Inn & Garden and Mountain Brook Vineyards Emerald Isle opens with the timeless ritual of aperitivo—a graceful invitation to slow down, savor the moment, and awaken the palate.

On Saturday, September 12, join us in the garden for an intimate first course inspired by the refined simplicity of Italy:

🧀 Italian Fontina — delicately nutty and luxuriously creamy, served at the ideal temperature to reveal its rich, buttery character imported from Italy.

🫒 Castelvetrano Olives with Boursin — silky, mild green olives filled with herb-scented Boursin, offering a beautifully balanced contrast of brine, cream, and freshness.

🥖 Fresh-Baked Focaccia — fragrant and golden, with a tender, airy crumb and crisp, olive-oil-kissed edges.

🥂 Each element is paired with a crisp, elegant white Mountain Brook Vineyards fine wine selected to enhance the course’s creamy textures, savory nuances, and delicate salinity.

And this is only the beginning —all served in the enchanting garden of the historic Ann Street Inn& Garden in historic Beaufort.

Mountain Brook Vineyards joins us at Cru from 6:30–8:00 PM with a selection of wines to taste through before the night shifts into live music from 8:00–11:00 PM.

✨ After helping make our Emerald Isle tasting room what it is today, our amazing tasting room manager, Suzy, is heading back to the Mountain Brook Vineyards estate as their Business Operations & Compliance Manager!

Join us for her Going Away Pizza Party on Saturday, September 19th from 4–9 PM! Come grab a glass of wine, enjoy some pizza, hang out, and give Suzy the farewell she deserves. Let’s fill the tasting room and send her off with one last big Emerald Isle celebration! 🥂🍕

📚 School may be back in session soon, but the sun is still shining, the water is still warm, and our drinks are still coming out COLD! 🧊🍷 We know those long beach days and summer vacations are winding down and life is about to get a little busier, but don’t worry; we’re not going anywhere!
