Meet the Intern!
Madison is joining the City of Emmetsburg and the Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce this summer as our Marketing & Events Intern. She is a Junior at Buena Vista University, Majoring in Business Marketing, Management, and Sports Business, and minoring in Graphic Design. Madison currently serves as the President of Student Activities Board at Buena Vista University, and previously as the Vice President of Social Media and Design. Madison is also the Vice President of Marketing for Beavers in Business, and is involved in many other clubs on campus.
She is originally from Dumont, Iowa, and loves working in small town communities. Some of Madison’s favorite things about small town life are the lifelong connections and relationships you can make, watching small communities grow, and supporting local businesses. One thing she is looking forward to is meeting and working with people and businesses in the community.
Please stop and say “hello” to Madison at community and Chamber events throughout the summer or at the Economic Development/Chamber office, and welcome her to the Emmetsburg community!
