Happy MOOnday....with a sprinkle of Banjo 🩵

10/04/2026

In the early morning hours
As the sun rose and the blue wooly aphids danced like fairies around your fur

The earth cradled you in its cool grass
And the birds sang to you
A sweet morning song to ease your heavy heart

The honey bees whispered to every dandelion that a little boy was about to get his wings

The willows swayed in the wind waving goodbye while passing messages through their roots that the goodest boy ever was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge

The kitties all circled around
purring their healing vibration to help sooth your pain as we said our goodbyes

As Mother Earth rocked you silently to sleep we held your paws until your last breath disappeared into the breeze

Sleep well sweet prince!

Dearest Banjo

The stars have called you home

The Rainbow Bridge to the cosmos has opened its gates, and it's time to run and bounce back into the stardust from which you were born.

May you run faster than this Earthly body ever allowed and may you hop higher now that gravity can't hold you down

You were one in a trillion

A soul dog tethered to me so tight that we will meet again in every life, I'm sure of that

Thank you for finding me

Thank you for years of being our family's best friend

Thank you for trying so hard to be your happy self through the pain

Thank you for everything

I'll see you next go around sweet boy.

Rest easy now that the pain is gone 💔

Happy October!! 31 days for Thor to figure out his Halloween costume! He can never pick just one, so last year he decided on a pilot with a cape! Can't wait to see what he picks this year 😉😄!

🍺That time of year again! Brew for the crew! Well....the leftover grain atleast!
Our amazing friends over at Barbarian Brewing donate their spent grain to the animals here on the farm every winter.
Its rich in fiber, protein and minerals and helps keep their bellies full and warm.

Don't worry...no alcohol in the grain 😉!

🍻But don't leave all the fun to the crew, stop by Barbarian Brewing for a great b**r ( and awesome food trucks)! You'll be supporting an amazing local business, and our crew will reap the benefits!
