It’s that time of year! The winter Squash are getting ripe! We will have baby butternut squash and carnival acorn squash available, along with a lot of other good things!
we still have some berries, some peaches, pears, apples, a good amount of other kinds of veggies… probably our last week for Sweet Corn.
jams and mustard and dried fruit as well!
Thanks for all your support this year. We’ve got two weeks of the Saturday market left, and then we will also be at the harvest festival on October 10th!

🥬 **HOW FRESH IS YOUR FOOD?**

One of my favorite parts about the way our online market works is the incredibly short trip some of your food takes before reaching you.

Think about this:

🛒 You place your order **Saturday or Sunday.**

👩‍🌾 Our farmers see exactly what you've ordered.

🥕 On **Monday and Tuesday**, some of those vegetables are still growing in the ground or sitting on the plant!

Farmers can harvest close to pickup instead of harvesting everything days ahead and hoping it sells.

🚐 We collect products from our vendors on **Tuesday.**

🏠 And on **Wednesday**, we're bringing them to YOU.

In some cases, there can be a very short amount of time between **farm and your kitchen.** ❤️

And it isn't just vegetables.

🍞 Bread can be freshly baked.
🍰 Treats can be freshly made.
🍲 Prepared foods can be made for that week's orders.
🌿 Produce can be harvested close to delivery.

That's one of the really cool things about shopping through a local food system.
