I intend on putting together my breeding groups on November 1st, using Erik and Nordal again as my rams. Next year we’ll need a new ram though.
In preparation, I’ve been observing estrus behavior in my ewes - specifically when they spend all day at the fence diving the boys and girls groups, while all other ewes are out grazing, and from there, their next expected estrus cycle. Here’s my data so far:

Kanel Oct 17 and 20 Nov 3–6
Odetta Oct 17 and 20 Nov 3–6 (who I am not planning to breed as a ewe lamb)
Embla Oct 17 Nov 3
Snicket Oct 17 Nov 3

Pricilla Oct 20 Nov 6
From this data I should actually start my breeding groups on October 28th to ensure catching two cycles for Påske, as I’d rather have them lamb earlier than later in the season…
The other good news is that these ewes are likely still open, meaning Gunnar didn’t get to them!
Still 11 ewes unaccounted for though…
