If you've ordered pecans and have not made arrangements to pick them up, you need to text me this week. All must be picked up by Sunday. All other pecans will be going to the shop for sale on Monday. Information on our cracking service...
We sanitize all pecans before we crack them. For basic cracking and you clean the shell out, we charge 0.50lb. we don't have a sheller but our machine does blow a lot of the shell out. If you want us to adjust the machine for that, we charge 0.75lb. We require a 20lb minimum to take them. and it takes longer (than other places) because we sanitize them. I have a video I put on our page that shows our cracking and the output in the video, shows the 0.75lb product. Pecans must be clean, meaning no leaves, twigs, rocks, or green hulls. If you decide you want to bring any, please call to set a time and also to tell you more about our procedure.

Had a small batch to crack today. First pickup always has a lot of black ones that had fallen out of the trees. Here's a video of our cracker. I've added photos of the finished product in comments. A lot come out almost shelled, depending on the variety of pecan.
