Dear CT Ranch Family,
We have exciting news: CT Ranch is beginning a wonderful new chapter!
After almost 17 years of milking cows and running the farm, our family is passing CT Ranch to Jack and Shea Foster of Pond Creek Meadows—you already know them as the bakers of our sourdough bread and seasonal products!
We are moving back to Oregon to be closer to family. While saying goodbye is bittersweet, we are incredibly happy about what lies ahead for our family and CT Ranch. After nearly two decades of early mornings, holiday milkings, and working outside in every kind of weather, we’re looking forward to vacations, sleeping in on holidays, and discovering life when the cows no longer set our schedule!
Jack and Shea will continue right where we leave off while gradually making CT Ranch their own. So much of its heart will remain—including Jacob, our wonderful farm manager, and every CT Ranch Brown Swiss cow.
Most importantly, your membership will continue exactly as it is—nothing will change. You’ll also have opportunities to meet Jack and Shea at weekly pickups.
Jack and Shea’s farm in Quitman has been in Jack’s family for more than 50 years. They believe in real food, regenerative farming, treating animals with kindness, and caring for the land for generations to come. They raise cows and goats, mill their own grains, and make fresh-milled sourdough by hand. For them, farming is early mornings, hard work, muddy boots, a busy kitchen, and a whole lot of love—and they are excited to welcome you into their farm family.
To our customers and members: thank you for trusting our family to feed yours. Thank you for supporting our farm, loving our cows, returning your jars, and understanding when farm life didn’t go according to plan.
We are enormously proud of CT Ranch and deeply grateful it will continue in the hands of people who share our love for real food, healthy animals, and responsible farming.
This is not an ending—it is a happy new beginning! We hope you’ll welcome Jack and Shea with the same kindness and encouragement you have always shown us.
With tremendous gratitude and excitement,
Nicole, Pierre, and the entire Caballero Family
