Our version of a Hot n’ Ready 🤌🏻

Our Thursday night authentic UP style pasties are one of our local’s favorite weekly traditions. Picture a perfect pastry crust that’s more buttery n’ tender than any you’ve ever had, filled with locally sourced root vegetables and local pork and beef, and baked to goodness, ready to go home with you on this chilly, rainy October night.

$12 each, available with meat or vegetarian. Now till we close at 6, and available now in our deli cooler all week along for the fall & winter!

Chef Tero is back from his fall travels to Finland, and that means Wednesday Indian Food takeout is BACK too!

Stop by tonight from 4 PM - 6 PM for authentic Indian takeout with tonight’s offering of Palak Paneer - a classic vegetarian dish featuring house made cheese and a creamy spinach based served. Served with rice, local veggies, and a sweet chutney for a perfect, easy, delicious meal on this chilly day.

We have pears from Big Belly Farms in Empire, and concord grapes from Slanted Earth Farm also in Empire.

As fall descends on our neck of the woods, we’re excited to welcome cozier rituals and bring back our Wellness Wednesdays with area teachers & classes that inspire calm.

Join us next Wednesday at 5:30 PM for Partner Yoga with Naomi and Matthew! This playful, informal, gentle class is beginner friendly and focuses on stretching, breath, and fostering connection!

Class is $20 per person, and registration details are in the graphic. And, we’re so glad Chef Tero is back from a homeland trip to Finland - which means that Wednesday Indian Cuisine Night is BACK! Enjoying a nourishing meal in our cafe space after class, prepared with local fresh ingredients all from our NeighborFood Market.

Our thoughts are with The Farmer’s Creamery this morning as they wade through the grief that is losing an entire farm market and operations facilities to a fire over the weekend.

Their Amish owned business down in Mio has been a special vendor relationship since we opened the NeighborFood Market, and we’re incredibly saddened to hear the news along with the wide network of small grocers that carry these wonderful dairy products.

The Farmers’ Creamery was founded in 2020 by three Amish dairy farmers aimed at providing fresh dairy products while supporting local agriculture. The cooperative expanded over time to include five family farms in the Mio area, with each farm maintaining a herd of 30 to 40 grass-fed cows.

Our shelves are currently stocked with smoothies and ice cream, all from high quality milk supplied by 100% grass fed cows from their farm. We will be sure to let you know what inventory looks like through the fall and winter.

In the meantime, our hearts go out to the families and community who keep this small dairy running and we’re hoping for a smooth & swift rebuild 💛

We SOLD OUT of our housemade old fashioned pumpkin & c***r cinnamon sugar donuts by 3 o’clock yesterday 🫶🏼 and while that’s exciting, we want to apologize to those of you who visited us and didn’t get some!

We have 2 dozen fresh baked donuts this morning from our last batch, and once those sell out we’ll be done with donuts till next weekend!

We want to give a huge shoutout to our kitchen partners mel and fell & Mel for baking these delicious treats for soft opening weekend - we had some pretty rave reviews!!👌🏻
