Have you ever experienced a sound bath? Join us this upcoming week for Wellness Wednesday at Lively Acres!

Immerse yourself in a meditative journey of sound that is peaceful and grounding. Our guide, Eva Tytar will lead us in this relaxing experience with a collection of gongs, bowls, and chimes. This gentle practice will create a nourishing environment for your body, mind, and soul.

Mats and chairs provided. No prior experience required, and suitable for all physical abilities.

It’s been a week since we launched our Blues, Brews & Barbeque Fest on August 7&8 at our Lively Acres outpost - and we wanted to remind you to grab your tickets now and get planning your weekend in Empire!

We are getting ready to host our SOLD OUT Finnish Summer Solstice Farm-to-Table Dinner tonight for 28 special folks in our NeighborFood Market.

Our Solstice Dinners are always one of our most popular evenings of the year, but we still have 6 seats left for our next Farm-to-Table Dinner on Monday, June 29!

If you haven’t been to our dinner series, it’s worthwhile to put on your summer bucket list. Whether you’re a local food lover, or a visitor hoping to experience something truly unique on your vacation to Northern Michigan.

Our guests enjoy a delightful intimate dining experience with multi-course dishes prepared from locally sourced and seasonally available farm-to-fork ingredients, prepared by our globally trained chef, Tero Valtonen. Shared communally at long candlelit tables with fresh flowers right from our garden, you’ll feel the understated, rustic luxury that defines our regional Northern Michigan food culture.

We are so excited to be carrying fresh baked breads and crackers all summer long, stocked weekly!

We have loved watching our Mill neighbors lovingly transform the iconic 1800’s historic property along the Crystal River into a peaceful retreat and press-worthy culinary destination over the past few years. And, we’re thrilled that they have expanded their production facilities to allow for a truly wonderful wholesale bakery program with small batch products featuring house milled organic grains.

Our Market has never smelled so good (looking at you Asiago loaf). Stop in to grab the fixings for a really elevated and delicious beach charcuterie picnic today.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Empire Asparagus Festival this weekend and stopped by our food tent! We sure had a good time being out in the community and seeing familiar and new faces - all while serving up our famous UP style pasties with a seasonal sweet addition of asparagus.
