New exhibit alert! 🌿🚜 We are absolutely thrilled to welcome Gumz Farms Mint to our Stories from the Field exhibit!

Wisconsin agriculture has a rich history, and did you know our state ranks 5th in the nation for mint oil production? Right here in our community, the team at Gumz Farms is a massive part of that success, growing high-quality mint that winds up in everyday products across the globe—from your morning toothpaste to your favorite pack of gum.

Our brand-new exhibit addition gives you a firsthand look at their incredible farming operation, the unique muck soils they cultivate, and the specialized science behind harvesting and distilling mint oil.

We have the perfect plans to celebrate this exciting new addition: Marvelous Mint Day this upcoming Saturday, June 20th! 🥳 We’ve teamed up with King Cone for a massive celebration from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM featuring 16 award-winning ice cream flavors, an exclusive mint menu (Oreo Grasshopper, anyone?), free admission all day for Dads to celebrate an early Father's Day, and our green peas are ready for an early U-Pick Day! 🍦🎟️

Come explore the new exhibit, grab a scoop, put peas on your dinner menu, and learn how local farm families fuel our world.
