Robert Marshman filled my heart and soul with that special kind of love that exists forever. He shared his love with so many as well. We built a life of loving others and trying to make a difference in the world. I will do my best to carry on with his spirit close by. He made his journey to glory a year ago today. It doesn't seem possible, but that's what the calendar tells me. In some ways it feels like days, in others years. The loss of My Robert has been undescribable. Only those who have lost the love of their life can begin to understand the intensity of grief.
Hands down our favorite day of the year was Maple Glen fest. The day when our family and friends came to our farm and celebrated summertime. Our musical friends entertained us, Teep stumped us with his Tune Twisters, we ate so much food, hugged, laughed, danced and raised money for a family in need. Some years we raised money to support our SUPER DOOPER 4 H club!!!! The energy on the farm on those days was truly AMAZING!!!!! I will cherish those memories forever ( well except for the last several hours of MGF6). 😫🙄
Last year over 450 people came to celebrate Bob's life! His as well as others who have passed spirits could be felt. It was an incredible day! I have decided that MGF 12 was the last. Please understand that the first weekend in August was sacred to Bob and I. I need to savor the memories with him included, you know? It's hard to express.
