I study Culinary Arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Sydney, with a concentration in French pastry. I developed my passion for baking during the 15 months that I lived in Paris in 2010-2011. I always loved sweets so much so that I would prefer to eat dessert as a meal, but I grew to appreciate the creativity and artistry of French baking. I love having over ripe bananas at home because it gives me the chance to try a new banana bread recipe every time. This time I also had a ton of extra cherries, so I made a cherry jam, and baked up a dairy free Banana-Cherry Tahini Bread. I’m planning on having a slice (or 2) with PB and my cherry jam for breakfast tomorrow 🍌🍒

It’s a rough disease! No matter how careful you try to be with your diet, between cross contamination from eating out and hidden ingredients, the 🚽 gets a lot of ❤️ in our house 🙈

As a parent, sending your child off to sleepaway camp comes with enough emotions. If your child has celiac disease or needs to eat gluten free, food shouldn’t be one of the things you have to worry about.

That’s why seeing this list means so much to me.
This summer, Blends by Orly and Modern Bread & Bagel are partnering with 40+ sleepaway camps, providing gluten-free baking products so campers with celiac disease and gluten sensitivities can enjoy camp right alongside everyone else.

And what makes this even more meaningful is that one of these camps is where my own son is spending the summer Camp Seneca Lake

Watching our company help make summer camp more inclusive for so many other families is something I’m incredibly proud of.

I love this song so much. I never realized it until I sang it tonight with my brother how different the lyrics resonate with me today than they did last time I sang this song over 10 years ago, when my life was in a totally different place.

Music has such an incredible way of striking the soul like a lightning bolt. It is truly a vessel into physical and spiritual worlds, and transcends all languages and cultures.

This past week, my parents house has been filled with music and song from me and my siblings, as we have surrounded my father in his last few weeks or days of life. Music and song is what brings our family together and connects all of our souls.

Sending love and strength to anyone who needs it right now. If you don’t enjoy singing, sometimes just putting on one of your favorite songs and crying to it can be very therapeutic. ✌️❤️🎶

Backstory: my brother and I perform in a summer concert every year in our hometown. Alex has always looked forward to sitting in the audience and watching. This year, his passion for music has bloomed tremendously, and he is going to perform a couple of songs with us on stage. Here is his first time singing Let it Be by The Beatles. This 9 year old kid has a great ear and learns music super quickly! 🎵🎤
