Dear Enid Community,
After many years of serving this wonderful community, I have made the difficult decision to close Jaren's Jerky permanently on September 18th, 2026.
This was not an easy choice. However, I have been given an opportunity to pursue a career that will allow me to utilize the college degree that I worked so hard to earn. In many ways, this next chapter is possible because of Jaren's Jerky and the support this community has shown me throughout the years.
When I started this business, I never imagined the impact it would have on my life. Not only did Jaren's Jerky allow me to serve a community that I love, but it also helped me pay for my college education and achieve goals that once seemed out of reach. For that, I will always be grateful.
I want to sincerely thank the people of Enid for your incredible support. Whether you were a loyal customer, stopped by occasionally, shared a kind word, or recommended us to family and friends, you played a part in this journey. Your support turned a dream into a successful business and helped open doors for my future.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to my colleagues and friends at the Strate Center and Enid Regional Development Alliance . Your encouragement, friendship, guidance, and support over the years have meant more than I can express. I truly could not have done this without you.
While I am excited for what comes next, I will deeply miss the relationships, conversations, and memories that came from operating Jaren's Jerky. This business has been much more than a job. It has been a life-changing experience and a blessing.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in me, supporting my business, and helping me reach this milestone. I will always cherish the memories and friendships created along the way.
With sincere gratitude,
Jaren of Jaren's Jerky
