Fresh squash, zucchini, bell peppers, sweet Italian peppers, and a few cucumbers are stocked!

The cucumbers don’t sit long, so come early 🥒

Tomatoes are still doing their “one or two at a time” thing 🍅 but the vines are loaded, so hopefully they’ll get the memo soon 😄

🌱 Farm Stand Morning Update 🌱 6•10•26

First off — THANK YOU for the big day yesterday! ❤️ We had so many people stop by the farm stand and truly hope everyone had a great experience. Keep spreading the word — it means so much to our little family farm!

This morning’s restock includes:

🥒 Zucchini & squash again… lol who would’ve guessed? 😂

🥒 Only a handful of cucumbers this morning, but there are tons of tiny cucumbers and blooms coming on, so more are on the way!

🍅 Still waiting on tomatoes… don’t give up on me yet! I know southern and some
of central Arkansas is getting some already, but I can’t wait for one fresh out of this garden.

🌶️ Also added:
- Bell peppers
- Banana peppers
- Jalapeños (first pepper on the left!)

We know the labeling system is lacking 😅 Better signs, gravel, MORE BUCKETS, and a few upgrades are in the works!

Farm Stand Update 🌱 6•9•26

After a long but great evening at Damascus Road Cowboy Church Wrangler Camp helping lead horses and kiddos, we stirred around a little later than usual this morning 😅 But nevertheless, Cricket (my fluffy companion) and I got the garden picked!

I either somehow missed a couple zucchinis yesterday or they decided to grow to the size of a baseball bat in 24 hours 😂

So this morning we are restocking…
🥒 Squash & zucchini (shocking, I know lol)

BUTTTT… something new! 👀
🥒 Cucumbers! We’ve got a few in the stand this morning!

We have around 10 cucumber vines, so once they really start producing, we’re going to have a bunch. I know a lot of folks have been asking about cucumbers for pickles (and trust me, I’m ready to make some too 😆). Once we have enough in bulk, I’ll be sure there are plenty for y’all to make your own pickles and I’ll likely have some homemade pickles available too.

🍅 Tomato update: I know I sound like a broken record, but they’re still ripening. The plants are loaded — we’re just waiting patiently(ish).

🍆 Eggplants: same story — growing great, just waiting on bigger fruit.

🫑 Also added more:
Marconi peppers, Carmen peppers & bell peppers!
These are all sweet peppers and are perfect for:
🔥 roasting
🍳 frying
🍽️ grilling
🍲 soups, sauces & pasta dishes

🌱 Farm Stand Update 🌱

Didn’t get out to pick this morning before church (the plan was this afternoon 😅), but the showers rolled in and I wasn’t interested in melting.

BUT… we got out there this evening and y’all… the squash and zucchini have officially exploded. Tons picked tonight — at this point, we need more buckets 😂 but the shelf will do.

At the rate this squash & zucchini are coming on, if something doesn’t happen soon I’m about to be up to my elbows in zucchini bread, zucchini brownies, squash pickles, and anything else I can convince myself to make 😅

Fresh in the stand:
🥒 Lots of squash & zucchini
🫑 More bell peppers & Marconi peppers

🥒 Picked a few more cucumbers too, but they’re still in the “didn’t make enough to share yet” phase. Once we get a few more, they’ll hit the stand!

🍅 Tomato update: still ripening, but our plants are absolutely loaded down. We’ve got:
Better Boys, Cherokee Purples, Bradleys, “Not So” Early Girls 😆, Cherries, Roma, Brandywine Pink & Beefsteak.
Again…. Just a matter of time now!

🍆 Eggplants are currently looking like small bushes — lots of growth, just waiting on bigger fruit.

🌿 Herbs available by request: basil, rosemary & sage.

Farm stand morning update!
If you guessed more squash and zucchini, congratulations — you’ve been paying attention 🤣

Restocked again this morning, plus:
🌶️ A few peppers
🧴 Tallow lotion balm (frankincense)
🌿 One sage bundle left!

The best news? 🍅 Our tomatoes are finally starting to blush a little. We’re getting close to tomato season and we are READY.

I also picked a couple cucumbers this morning… but unfortunately they never made it to the house or the farm stand 😅 They were eaten right there in the garden. Quality control is important around here.

Big thank you to everyone who has stopped by so far! We know we’re currently operating with basically zero roadside advertising 😅 so those of you following along here and coming by anyway — thank you. We appreciate every visit and every bit of support ❤️

A little farm stand housekeeping post 🌱

We still have plenty of squash and zucchini in the stand, a couple bundles of sage, and a few handfuls of peppers (bell, banana, and mild snacking peppers).

Moving forward, herbs (sage, rosemary, basil) will be available by request only — this heat gets to them quick.

A quick reminder: please don’t take the buckets from the stand, but there are sacks available to carry your veggies home.

You may notice our produce is not pre-washed. We leave it as fresh-picked as possible because produce tends to last longer and stay fresher when left unwashed until you’re ready to use it. Just give it a quick rinse at home!

This is a donation-based, self-serve farm stand. Give what you can, take what you need. Our goal is to help feed our community with the extras from our garden rather than let good produce go to waste. We love gardening, we feed our family, and we’d love to help feed yours too.

Donations can be made through Cash App or cash in the drop box, but please don’t ever feel obligated — every bit simply helps us keep the garden going through this season and the next.

We also still have tallow lotion balm available, and I can make more whipped balm if there’s interest.

Made another trip to the garden this morning and brought up even more fresh goodies for the stand!

Freshly picked & stocked today:
🥒 Squash & zucchini (still plenty available 😅)
🫑 Bell peppers
🌶️ Banana peppers
🌿 Fresh basil
🍃 Fresh sage

The peppers are really starting to come on strong, and I have a feeling we’re going to have plenty this year! I’m already looking forward to making some cowboy candy and pepper jellies once we get enough in bulk. 👀

And I’m just gonna say it… somebody better start getting squash and zucchini 😂 because if not, I’m about to start making a whole lot of zucchini bread, maybe even some small-batch squash pickles, etc.

Also — for those patiently waiting on tomatoes and eggplants, they are both looking fantastic! 🍅🍆 Our tomato plants are absolutely loaded down with green tomatoes right now, so it’s just a matter of time before they start ripening. Trust me, I’m watching them closely 😅

🌱 The garden is really starting to come on now, and we’re picking fresh and restocking daily every day that we’re home.

Everything is grown right here in our home garden in Enola, Arkansas (with the occasional locally grown item from time to time).

Need an idea for fresh zucchini from the farm stand? Homemade zucchini bread is always a good place to start. ❤️

Made this loaf using zucchini from our garden here in Enola and figured I’d share the recipe in case anyone wants to try it too! There’s just something about turning fresh garden produce into something homemade for the kitchen.

Recipe included in the photo for anyone wanting to give it a try!

🌱 Farm stand update: We currently have plenty of squash and zucchini available and have officially transitioned over to our buckets since the garden is starting to really produce and we’re getting more and more picked daily! Stop by anytime — the stand is self-serve and open 24/7 at the end of our driveway.
