Agrilab Technologies Inc

Agrilab Technologies Inc AGT works with farms and other composters to achieve energy efficiency and a sustainable future for the planet. Build soil and heat your space!

Agrilab Technologies, Inc. (AGT) specializes in compost aeration and heat recovery (CAHR). This is the efficient composting and renewable thermal energy (heat) capture and transfer from the aerobic digestion/ composting of biodegradable materials such as food scraps, by-products of food processing, farm generated manure and bedding materials, and other biomass. We plan, design, development, implem

ent and support operation of composting and thermal energy systems, and their integration into other host site activities. We capture the steam vapor generated by aerobic, microbial activity, use specialized heat exchangers and store it in insulated water reservoirs from where it is circulated and used to heat all types of spaces including greenhouses, buildings and hot water. We reduce farm/ grower dependence on fossil fuels, divert residuals from improper disposal in landfills and help rebuild healthy soil conditions to meet future food and fiber production, and Low Impact Development (LID) needs for an increasing population.

Happy to share a short piece published on our newest composting system installation. Our team provided the aeration system equipment, along with design, planning and installation services. Great to work with the Windham Solid Waste Mgt. District, Zaluzny Excavating, Steve Horton Consulting, ClearSpan Structures, and Sanborn-Head Engineering.

The new aerated static pile system allows the composting facility to handle more material on the same footprint and thus handle an increasing volume of food waste.
