From our family farm to your table, we raise pastured poultry for both eggs and meat using non-GMO, corn & soy free feed with no vaccines — producing clean, wholesome food you can trust. With what started as an interest in raising hens for fresh eggs, has grown into a passion for raising both layer hens and meat chickens on pasture using rotational grazing methods. All of the birds on our farm are
raised in “chicken tractors”, allowing protection from predators and frequent rotation onto fresh grass. Fresh Eggs: All eggs sold from the farm are refrigerated unless otherwise specified by the customer, as well as not cleaned. Not cleaning the eggs allows a protective membrane called the cuticle to remain on the egg, preventing bacteria from entering the pores of the shell. This keeps the egg fresh for a longer period of time. If you would like your eggs cleaned, that can certainly be accomplished also! Eggs are currently $5 per dozen. Meat: Currently we are taking preorders. You call and order the amount of birds you would like (Minimum qty of 5 birds). We raise them from 2 days old through 8-9 weeks old. We process and place meat in shrink wrapped bags. You pick up and enjoy! Current price for meat birds is $4.50 per lbs. (Dressed weight). Average dressed weight is between 4-6 lbs. Deposit required.
