Good morning friends! Unfortunately the pumpkin patch is closed until further notice. We’re trying to build a house on the East end of the same (County Line) dirt road in Enterprise and focusing our energies there for the foreseeable future. Thank you all for your unwavering support and encouragement of everything we’ve done so far. We’re excited for this new adventure and will begin installing irrigation lines for a new pumpkin patch just as soon as the house is done.

I’ve been putting off writing this post because it’s pretty depressing. On August 22nd another hailstorm destroyed our pumpkin crop so we won’t be able to host the pumpkin patch for a second year due to hail damage. It kind of breaks my heart. Sorry everyone.

Hi friends. On 1 August a hail storm destroyed our pumpkin crop so unfortunately we won’t be able to host our favorite visitors this year. We have the cover crop planted early, and we’re hopeful that we’ll get to see all your smiling faces next growing season.

Had a flash flood and hail storm here while I was out of town. Took out some fence and destroyed the pumpkins.

The hail can tear foliage, and in addition to the immediate damage it opens up the plant to disease and fungus. We’ll want to keep an eye on it and use the appropriate medicine to keep the plants healthy.
