THE NAME. 💣🚁
Yesterday, we got a social media comment that, honestly, we’re surprised took this long.
Someone was not a fan of the name Bombs & Blades, explaining that it was absurd and that they had no interest in buying hot sauce from a company with a name like that.
Fair enough. 😂
But for those of you who know my story, you know the name wasn’t picked just to sound aggressive or get attention.
Bombs & Blades was built around heat, shock, and friction, with a very intentional nod to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Aviation communities.
As a former EOD technician, I was fortunate enough to spend part of my life removing some of the most dangerous things on the battlefield and, against all odds, I still have all 10 fingers. That feels worth mentioning. 💀
And now, as a fledgling aviator, I’m looking forward to a long and productive career being held aloft by the life-giving magic of rotor blades. 🚁
So, BLUF: We’re not apologizing for a name that makes some people uncomfortable.
If “Bombs & Blades” isn’t your thing, I’m sure there’s a hot sauce somewhere with rainbows, butterflies, and maybe a gentle watercolor of a strawberry field that’ll be right up your alley. 🌈🦋
That’s not us.
We’re here to make damn good hot sauce, make an impact, and give back to the military community that inspired this company in the first place.
We’re going to be a little loud about it.
We’re going to have some fun with it.
And if we make a few haters along the way?
Consider that collateral flavor. 💣🔥🚁
