Oh Gloria! This girl has brought me through so many experiences just this year 😂 both not good ones 🫣 From getting stuck during kidding and almost making me lose her and her Dam, to her flipping out for a shot and causing me to stab myself in the finger with the needle. Keep in mind, I have been giving shots to goats and cattle for years and never had this happen. Both SQ and IM 😂

This past Wednesday she had a 105 fever (she's back to normal now) so I gave her a fever reducer and an antibiotic, as I went to give her the antibiotic she went crazy and the needle came out of her skin and went into my middle finger. It was a 20 gauge that went right in between my fingernail and my joint 🤦🏼‍♀️ my finger started bleeding right away so I put pressure on it, I looked at the syringe and noticed that .1ml was gone (still not sure if I got it or if she did) 😂 and I got scared, I washed my hands and just kept running my finger under water for a little bit, and it was hurting SO bad. The tip of the needle was bent so I'm not sure if that was from it going into my finger or not. Anyway after it stopped bleeding and I was holding my middle finger up 😂 the tip of my finger started going numb 😱 it scared me at first but then the feeling slowly started coming back and it started getting more painful again. I went to the doctor and had to get a Tetanus shot and antibiotics, and antibiotic pills are the size of a freaking cow pill let me tell you that 😑

Next time, remind me not to tell any of my animals that 2 shots aren't that bad because it looks like I ended up getting 2 shots too 🤣

Made 2 more batches of soap last night! On the left we have a Lavander batch and on the right we have a Black Raspberry Vanilla batch!!

These 2 girls went to their new home today! They are going to be so loved! The little girl is going to name the one Reindeer (left) and the other one Mooncorn (right) 😂🥰 so happy for them!

Eucalyptus bars along with the coconut bars are cut! They smell amazing and I can't wait until they cure!

I'm so happy that this girl is going to a good friend of mine! She will be so loved and I think she will make a nice milker for her!

I haven't been posting much on here, but I thought I would do a 2026 kid count for this year! The doe fairy finally joined us this year and we got:

7 doelings 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷
2 bucklings 💙💙

The first kidding season in 2024 we had 1 doeling and 3 bucklings (1 DOA buckling)

The second kidding season in 2025 we had 4 doelings and 6 bucklings (1 doeling and 2 bucklings were aborted, they would've been our first triplet born here 😕)

And last but not least our 3rd and most current kidding season for 2026!! All these babies below are the outcome of this year! Not one baby loss and by far my favorite kid crop out of all 3 kidding seasons! I still cant believe we got 7 doelings and only 2 bucklings 🤭😂
