Quick little reminder that 🌟 when you support a small business, you’re doing something for the whole family 🌟

Saw a comment on another local business page this week where a person was complaining that their prices were too high.

Well… hot take but, if ya don’t like it, shop somewhere else ‼️

But, I can assure you that when you buy honey, produce, beef, milk, clothing, etc. from large corporations, it doesn’t mean nearly as much as it does to the families out here busting butt to bring you our best products!

Sure, you might can buy a jar of honey at the grocery store for a few dollars less. Do you know what you’re really getting? 🧐

Without a doubt, you can buy produce from any store this time of year. Do you know what was sprayed on it?🤨

A pack of ground beef is one of the cheapest things at the grocery store. Is it really ground beef? 🤔

I could go on and on and on.

We’ve had our own fair share of folks with complaints about prices and I usually just remain polite and let it roll.

But here’s the deal people- the big box stores aren’t spending evenings and weekends working as hard as they can to produce a quality product. They don’t have children learning alongside how to carry on a family business. They aren’t investing much of their own money to keep costs down as low as possible for the consumer.

So here’s the deal- if you don’t like the prices, move it along, but keep your comments to yourself. No one is forcing you to buy from the little man 🤷🏻‍♀️

But for those who are willing to pay the extra dollar or two, THANK YOU! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Thank you that your support goes directly to our family and all the little extras we try to make happen for our kiddos. Thank you for reminding us that our hard work is worth it all! Thank you for helping us to grow every year. I pray our gratitude is always expressed for what each purchase means to our family.

For the rest of ya, I hope your grocery store honey crystallizes too quickly…. Kidding, of course 😉 but seriously, be more kind. We’re all working our booties off!

When it’s VBS week, sometimes ya end up filling orders at 11 PM, and that’s ok!

Another large order for a business went out today! These make the perfect little gifts for clients, closing gifts, rentals, etc.

THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by this weekend! We loved getting to visit with you all and kick off our honey season! We work so hard and seeing the smiles when our honey is back available makes it all worth it!

So many have asked, YES!!! There is still plenty of honey left! We won’t sell out for a lonnnng time, the larger size jars just sell out faster.

Wildflower Honey will hit the farm stand and will be open tomorrow (Saturday, July 11th) beginning at 10 AM!

And as a reminder, once a size is gone for the season, it’s gone. Due to the price break for larger sizes, we have limited amounts of those. Otherwise, we would have to increase our pricing significantly and that’s not our goal!

This honey season has been a little crazy (mother nature has definitely thrown some loops!) and we are sorry that we are a few weeks behind when we normally have wildflower available. But that’s life, ya know?

Again, this is WILDFLOWER ONLY!!! Sourwood will not be available until August as the bees are still on the tail end of making it! 🐝

A favorite hack, especially for the weekends! ✨Fix breakfast the night before ✨ and give yourself a slow Saturday morning.

My kids love this baked oatmeal. They call it “purple oatmeal” because of all the berries, but you can do any fruit variety, or no fruit at all.

I dump it all together, give it a mix, stick it in the fridge, and in the morning all I have to do is toss it in the oven! So easy and so yummy. Took me literally 5 minutes to throw together.

I’ll be enjoying my coffee hot in the morning 😏
