🐔 Evening Story Time at Chick‑Inn Express: Lilah’s Springtime Mission
Spring has officially sprung at Harley’s Hollow, which means the frogs, crickets, and every other tiny creature with legs is out here singing their little hearts out. And while most of the flock enjoys the background music…
Lilah hears a dinner bell.
Every morning, she hops off the roost with one goal in mind:
🎯 Find riddits.
Not worms. Not bugs. Not breakfast.
Riddits.
Before she heads out on her daily amphibian expedition, she does remember to drop off her egg like a responsible citizen. She plops it in the nest, fluffs her feathers like she just filed her taxes, and then she’s off — marching toward the pond with the confidence of a hen who has absolutely no idea what’s going on but is committed anyway.
You can spot her out there most days, standing at the water’s edge like a fluffy little cryptid, staring into the pond with the intensity of a National Geographic predator…
except she’s shaped like a lavender marshmallow and has the IQ of a warm biscuit. Sweet Lilah.
The frogs start chirping, and Lilah’s whole brain goes:
“Target acquired.”
Next thing you know, she’s stomping through the grass like she’s on a mission from God, chasing riddits with the enthusiasm of someone who has never once considered the consequences of her actions.
And somehow — SOMEHOW — she always comes back victorious.
Feathers ruffled. Eyes wide. Proud as can be.
Like she just saved the farm from an amphibian uprising. It may take all day, she is persistent.
Spring is here, y’all.
And Lilah is out there living her best frog‑slaying fantasy. She heard a croak near the bushes, better be quick!
